ORGAN GRINDER is a multi-game event catering to the DOOM and QUAKE communities, offering up meaty matches every month in a variety of viscera. You never know who you're going to see, what games will be played, or what havoc will be wreaked as players settle the score in the ULTIMATE arena for smackdown!

How can I participate?
Keep an eye on Discord and Twitter, as well as this page, for announcements regarding signups for upcoming Organ Grinder events. Signups are generally conducted the week following the prior event.

I want to play a teamgame!
Great! We are testing running a single teamgame showmatch each event, timed at the end of the show in order to protect the rest of the schedule. This puts the match start time at 18 ET, so EU players be aware. Interested parties can self-organize the two teams, and contact us on Discord to confirm eligibility.

What determines which games are eligible for competition?
Tastyspleen.tv has been covering Doom and Quake games for more than 12 years. If it's running on idtech, chances are we've covered it! However, some games are less well-suited to spectating and streaming, so they're being left off the list. For now.

If I submit a challenge video, does my opponent need to as well?
Nope! All they need to do is confirm with us that they've accepted the challenge and that they can play on the scheduled date.

I'm a really bad/really good player, am I a good fit for this event?
Organ Grinder is open to all skill levels, all you have to do is bring the heat and dish up the bloodlust!

How does prizing work?
Paypal payments are made after each event, with the total pool determined by donations taken during the show. Winners split 75% of the total pool, losers split 25% of the total pool. We will be exploring expanded options for prize splits in the near future.
